For the New Year Lexus expands its offer for the sporty sedans IS 250 and IS 220d to the equipment line “F Sport”.

The letter “F” is representative of Japan’s Fuji Speedway circuit. In the local engineering center of all athletic Lexus models receive their finishing touches.

The new trim level “F Sport” was derived from the charismatic PS 423 IS F high-performance sedan and inspired by racing.

The “F sport grille and rear spoiler to emphasize the dynamic appearance, as well as the exclusive 18-inch alloy wheels with 15-spoke design with a titanium finish. The standard sports seats are upholstered in a leather / Alcantara combination. On request also very cuddly Semianilinleder stands as a reference material. Even the steering wheel and headliner have been visually redesigned in line with the Lexus IS-F.

The unusually rich basic equipment of all Lexus IS models complemented by a USB port and a Bluetooth interface.

The optionally available navigation system now works, thanks to hard drive support with significantly shorter route calculation times.

Sales start for the new Lexus IS models in Germany is 15 Januar 2010.

From then on, the trim line “F Sports” for both the Lexus IS 220d with a short rear axle and six-speed manual transmission is as well as for the Lexus IS 250 available with a six-speed automatic transmission. Prices for the IS F Sport “models are announced in January.
